Along with inheriting the PURE II's micro USB charging, variable gain, and super-stable output, Vorzüge's latest, the VorzAMP DUO II, sports a spanking-new EQ system.

The less bombastic of the two is for the EQ-shy. It bumps frequencies from 10Hz - 75Hz by up to ~3dB and highs by up to ~2dB. The other, which is for the true EQ-head, bumps frequencies from 10Hz - 75Hz by up to ~12dB. A gentle rise of up to 3dB from 5K to 20K, spices up the signal.

True to Vorzüge form, DUO II keeps performance tip top. Fed by a Chord Mojo, I measure it topping out at around 119dB for both dynamic range and signal to noise ratio. Even when set to for the EQ-head, THD hovers around 0,0004%. Wonderful.
