If you were gathering your yennies for a nice new KAEDE, there's bad news: it is now sold out across Japan. If you want one, you'll have to hit the used market. Unfortunately, KAEDE is so damn good that you probably wont' find one there.

The moment of truth came 19 hours ago when Headfi member, truejoker confirmed that the bad news, quoting a message from Musica Acoustics' Dimitri Trush.

Thank you for your order for Kaede. I am terribly sorry to notify you but Kaede is now all sold out throughout Japan. The production is now over. We can not supply you this unit. I was not aware of this until last night. My apologies.

Mr. Yamagishi made only 200 units. Today was bound to come. But it doesn't make the news any easier to take.
